SNOWSTORM
~A whimsical ditty on parking etiquette
I tried to rise above this year
And place no chairs outside.
My grueling task at hand? To clear
A space for my old ride.
The storm it left ungodly piles
Of snow, heavy and deep.
The drifts they wandered on for miles
But shoveled I that street.
I placed no marker, chair, or broom.
I wanted to keep it clear.
So please imagine my surprise
to find these boxes here.
Dear Sir or Madam, I declare
we are adult, all grown.
My parking space I gladly share
but do not claim it as your own!
